Statement of Faith
WE BELIEVE there is but one God, infinite in glory, wisdom, holiness, power, justice, and love; that He is One in triune essence, eternally existent in three Persons as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE in the Deity of Jesus Christ; that He is one with the Father; that He is the only begotten Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary; that He is God’s only sacrifice for sin.
WE BELIEVE in Christ’s death and bodily resurrection; that He ascended to the Father to act as man’s Mediator and Advocate; that He by the Spirit lives in the believer; that Christ becomes “our Life” as revealed by the Holy Spirit to us.
WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Godhead, proceeding from the Father and Son, of one substance with Them and equal with Them; that He is given to the Church, the body of Christ, for the express purpose of revealing Christ.
WE BELIEVE in the Divine inspiration of the Scriptures; that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (II Timothy 3:16); that it is our infallible rule of faith and practice and the final authority in conduct; that the Bible is the written Word of God and when quickened by the Spirit and revealed to the individual believer becomes the “words of life.”
WE BELIEVE that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift of God and is for every believer.
WE BELIEVE the gifts of the Spirit are manifested through the Church that they are manifested in a divine-human reciprocity in which the Spirit initiates, inspires, and performs as He wills, and the believer responds, cooperates, and obeys.
WE BELIEVE in the Godhead; the Fall of Man and Redemption; the New Birth; Water Baptism; the Lord’s Supper; the Baptism of the Holy Ghost; the Gifts and Fruits of the Spirit; Sanctification; Divine Healing; the Rapture and Second Coming; Heaven; Hell; New Heaven and New Earth; Ministry and Evangelism; the Church is the body of Christ; Tithes and Offerings.
